I'm designing a garden theme game where users burn an asset, such as IGNIS, in order to receive other assets such as BIOCHAR, SOIL, WATER, SEED which are actually issued on Polygon chain. In the game, a user consumes these tokens in order to create plant themed NFT's.
I don't want to spend any time in design if there are objections to burning IGNIS that can't be mitigated. For starters, the minting smart contract can be capped so only a certain amount can be burned, just in case the game did get popular.
I've been researching the legality of this game, and it seems it is possible to design in such a way as to keep it friendly, fair, and not subject to financial regulations.
Please let me know what you guys thinks on your initial opinion!
