This is a mandatory update. A mainnet hard fork has been scheduled for block
4333333 expected on Feb 01, 2026, at which the new Nxt child chain will be
activated on mainnet based on a final snapshot of the Nxt blockchain taken on
Jan 17 at Nxt block 6000000. This activation will complete the migration of
the Nxt token to a new child chain on the Ardor platform. As announced,
aliases and monetary currency name ownership have also been included in the
migration.
This hard fork also will enable the new Atomic Transaction Chains feature,
already enabled on testnet. See the 2.5.2 release changelog for details.
